The name also brings to mind a legacy of architectural vision and enduring achievement. Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, the Persian architect associated with the design of Humayun's Tomb in Delhi, contributed to a landmark of Mughal architecture whose design tradition helped shape later monuments, including the Taj Mahal.
